Use this catalog of the main symbols according to the standard of ISO. Common bearing dimensions are shown in Figure 1 and figure 2. Others are as follows.
All symbols may be used in conjunction with a subscript to indicate technical requirements.
A = rotational speed coefficient [mm/min]
N = DM
C = bearing rating [kN]
DM = bearing average diameter [mm]
= 0.5 (D + D)
F = actual bearing load [kN]
L = service life, usually expressed in million revolutions or hours of work
N = speed [r/min]
P = bearing equivalent load [kN]
Pu = fatigue load limit [kN]
ETA = C pollution coefficient
Viscosity ratio: the actual viscosity and the desired viscosity
V = oil viscosity [mm2 /s]
